The CCLG is proud to have hosted an inspiring and forward-thinking session of the CCLG HS&W Forum, chaired by Gren Tipper FCIOB. The energy and collaboration in the room were exceptional, with contributions from leaders across National Highways, Environment Agency, Keltbray, AstraZeneca, and the HSE.
💡 Top Highlights:
👩💻 AI in Health & Safety Communication – Lavinia Toma of Keltbray showcased how AI tools like Pixverse and HeyGen are transforming safety messaging through role-specific models, visual standards, and multilingual support. The future looks exciting with VR, haptic suits, and predictive analytics on the horizon.
🚛 Driving for Better Business – Mark Cartwright of National Highways reminded us of the critical role clients play in road safety. His insights into procurement-led compliance and collaboration with Euro NCAP were eye-opening.
📋 CDM 2015 Compliance – Sam Leonard and Jonathan Jones are leading efforts to unify standards across Environment Agency functions, with potential adoption of Lavinia’s visual approach. A great example of cross-agency collaboration.
🏗️ HSE Restructuring – Bernardine Cooney updated us on HSE’s shift to functional operations, with new divisions and a broader integration of construction oversight.
Grateful to all attendees for their engagement and ideas. Looking forward to the next steps and continued collaboration.
